Writer

Writing has always been at the heart of what I do. At 8 years old, I began writing "mini" novels that brought fantastical worlds to life. In high school, my passion for storytelling evolved into journalism—I served as editor-in-chief of my school’s newspaper and contributed to my town’s local paper. When I launched my professional career at Discovery Channel’s Daily Planet, I was able to combine two of my passions: writing and science—writing micro-segments of daily science news, writing and producing in-studio segments and crafting engaging social media content to promote the show.

Since then, my writing portfolio has grown to encompass national broadcast commercials, digital explainer videos, long-form educational pieces, web copy, social media campaigns, and documentary shorts. My passion for highlighting the humanity at the centre of a story drives my artistry to connect, inform and inspire through the written word.
